Construction at Osler, Towson Commons

This installation was done at the Towson Commons space in Towson, Maryland. In an attempt to draw a connection between the ‘outside’ and ‘inside’, images from construction sites in the surrounding areas were used – to adapt to the space of the gallery. Being site-specific, parts of the installation became temporary and some parts became nomadic or transportable. The research on adaptation and transformation also originates here, whereby a particular installation from a particular space is made to adapt and transform at a different location, there by leaving a history and an open-ended process with no general goals (not a totalizing goal) but only specific ones (goals that are more immediate and specific to each installation).
